Be Thou My Vision arranged for horn octet was inspired by the sad departure of my great friend and colleague Anita Miller as she and her family moved from NYC to Provo Utah in the early 2000's.
A group of french horn buddies got together and put on a surprise farewell party that include a full concert of music for french horn solo and ensemble. The melody is a sentimental favorite of Anita.
